高考状语从句连词,状语从句连词的用法

常用来连接结果状语从句的连接词有：so that、so...that...、such...that...三类。

一. so that：“所以，因此”

so that在引导结果状语从句时，大多不用情态动词。

eg. It's too hot so that we turn on the air condition. 太热了所以我们打开了空调。

二. so...that：“太.....以至于”，so 是副词，只能修饰形容词或副词， so 还可与表示数量的形容词many, few, much, little连用，形成固定搭配。

eg.The boy is so young that he can't go to school. 这男孩太小以至于不能上学。

The football struck him so hard that he nearly fell down. 这个足球重重地击中了他，以至于他差点倒地。

三. such....that: "这么的.....以至于"，such 是形容词，修饰名词或名词词组,修饰单数名词时前面需要加不定冠词。

eg. He is such a young boy that he can't go to school. 他是一个这么小的男孩，所以不能去上学。

It is such nice weather that we decide to go to the beach. 天气这么好，所以我们决定去海滩。

一、引导原因状语从句的从属连词

主要的有because,for,inthat,forthereasonthat;as,seeing(that),seeingas;since;now(that);considering(that)等：

Thewoollyshrankbecauseitwaswashedbadly.

毛衣因为洗涤的方法不好而缩水。

Ican’tgettosleepbecauseofthenoiseoutside.

由于外面声音嘈杂我睡不着。

Since(As)we’venomoney,wecan’tbuyit.

由于我们没钱，我们不能购买它。

Seeingthatit’sraining,we’dbetterstayindoors.

既然外边在下雨，我们最好待在室内。

Nowthatyouarehere,you’dbetterstay.

你既然来了，最好还是留下吧

注除以上提到的大家比较熟悉的引导原因状语从句的从属连词外，when有时也可引导原因状语从句(when表示“既然”)

Iwon’ttellyouwhenyouwon’tlisten.

既然你不想听，那我就不告诉你了。

二、关于not?because结构

该结构中的否定词有时否定主句，有时否定从句，一般要根据句子的意思作出正确或合乎逻辑的理解。若not否定主句，最好在because之前用逗号，否则会引起歧义，如下句在没有特定上下文时就有两种解释：

Ididn’tgobecauseIwasafraid.

我没有去是因为怕。/我不是因为怕才去的。
