 1. 连接代词的用法

连接代词主要包括who, whom, what, which, whose, whoever, whatever, whichever, whosever 等,它们在句中可用作主语、宾语、表语、定语等,可以引导主语从句、宾语从句和表语从句:

I don’t know who he is. 我不知道他是谁。

What he says sounds reasonable. 他说的话听起来有道理。

The question is who(m) we should trust. 问题是我们该信任谁。

I’ll take whoever wants to go. 谁想去我就带谁去。

Take whichever seat you like. 你喜欢坐哪个座位就坐哪个。

I will just say whatever comes into my mind. 我想到什么就说什么。

注who, whom, whoever 等不用于名词前作定语。

2. what 的两种不同用法

请看以下两个句子:

I didn’t know what he wanted. 我不知道他想要什么。

I ge her what she wanted. 我给了她想要的一切。

上面第一句中的 what 表示“什么”,带有疑问的意味;第二句中的 what 表示“…所…的一切事或东西”,其意义上大致相当于 that (those) which, the thing (things) that, anything that, all that, as much as等,又如:

What [=That which] you say is quite true. 你说的完全是事实。

He ses what [= all that] he earns. 他赚多少,积蓄多少。

Call it what [= anything that] you please. 你喜欢叫它什么就叫它什么。

这样用的 what 有时还可后接一个名词:

He ge me what money [= all the money that] he had about him. 他把身上带的钱全给了我。

What friends [=All the friends that] he has are very poor. 他所有的朋友都很穷。

3. 关于whatever, whoever与whichever

它们可引导主语从句和宾语从句:

He does whatever she asks him to do. 她要他做什么,他就做什么。

Whoever breaks the rules will be punished. 谁违反这些规则都将受到处罚。

I’ll give the ticket to whoever wants it. 请想要这票,我就把它给谁。

Whichever team gains the most points wins. 哪个队得分最多,哪个队就赢。

注其中的 ever 主要用于加强语气,含有“一切”、“任何”、“无论”之义。使用这类词时,注意不要按汉语习惯用错句子结构:

任何人(谁)先来都可以得到一张票。

误:Anyone comes first can get a ticket. / Who comes first can get a ticket.

正:Anyone who comes first can get a ticket. / Whoever comes first can get a ticket.

高考英语语法有几大考点啊?

语法无非就考时态,语态,从句,非谓语动词。

一,时态方面,要区分什么时候用过去时,什么时候用完成时,还有过去完成时,这三个的用法往往都会混淆,所以经常考这个。辨别什么时候用这三个的哪一个,要看句子里面的时间标志词,画出句子中所有动作的时间轴,就很好做了。

二,语态方面,什么时候用被动语态,判断这个需要找动作发出者,而不是光看句子主语,要用自己逻辑判断,别被句子的主语迷惑。虚拟语态虽然有学,但不是重点考核对象,很少出。

三,从句。从句太多种多样了,高中的从句,定语从句是重点。一般考引导定语从句的关系代词或关系副词,还有定语里面的介词,是放在前面还是后面,这个也是常考的。

四,非谓语动词

1 现在分词的用法,做状语,做定语,要区分(注意,做主语那些动词ing叫动名词,不属于非谓语动词范畴)

2 过去分词用法,同上。

3 动词不定式,带to的和不带to的,动词不定式里加入时态和语态变化,也要注意,这是常考的点。

最后,关于做语法题,有几点很好用的提醒,以前我们老师常说。这里分享一下。

首先是名词性从句。that引导宾语从句时,是可以省略的,i think (that)he is wrong;that引导表语从句时,可以省略,如the reason is (that)he is wrong.这两种情况,that是连接词,不做成分。

另外that在定语从句中充当宾语时事可以省略的。如this is the most amazing place (that) i he ever seen.在定语从句中,that属于关系代词,在例句中作从句的宾语,也可做从句的主语,另如this is the place that we visited yesterday.这里的that不能省略。

名词性从句

名词性从句相当于名词,可分别作主句的主语、表语、宾语和同位语。因此,名词性从句厅分为主语从句、表语从句、宾语从句和同位从句。

(一)引导名词性从句的连接词

1、连接代词:who, whose, whom, what, which。有词义,在从句中担任成分,如主语、表语、宾语、或定语等。

2、连接副词:when, where, why, how。有词义,在从句中担任成分,作状语。

3、连接词:that, whether, if, as if。that 无词义,在从句中不担任成分,有时可省略;if (whether), as if虽有词义,但在从句中不担任成分。

注意:连接代词与连接副词在句中不再是疑问句,因而从句中谓语不用疑问式。连接代词与连接副词在从句充当句子成分,连接词whether 和if(是否),as if(好象)在从句中不充当句子成分,只起连接作用。根据句义,如果连接代词与连接副词,whether、if 和as if都用不上时,才用that作连接词(that本身无任何含义)。

(二)主语从句

1、主语从句在复合句作主语。

e.g. Who will go is not important.

2、用it作形式主语,主语从句放在句末。

e.g. It doesn't matter so much whether you will come or not.

3、that引导主语从句时,不能省略。

e.g. That he suddenly fell ill last week made us surprised.

(三)表语从句

1、表语从句在复合句中作表语,位于系动词之后。

e.g. The question was who could go there.

2、引导表语从句的连接词that有时可省去。

e.g. My idea is (that) we can get more comrades to help in the work.

(四)宾语从句

1、宾语从句在复合句中作宾语。引导宾语从句的连词that一般可省略。

e.g. I hope (that) everything is all right.

2、介词之后的宾语从句,不可用which或if连接,要分别用what或 whether。

e.g. I'm interested in whether you've finished the work..

I'm interested in what you've said.

3、whether与if都可以引导宾语从句,常可互换。但下面情况不能互换。

①宾语从句是否定句时,只用if,不用whether。

e.g. I wonder if it doesn't rain.

②用if 会引起误解,就要用whether。

e.g. Please let me know whether you want to go.(此句如果把whether改成if,容易当成条件句理解)

③宾语从句中的whether 与or not直接连用,就不能换成if;不直接连用,可换。

e.g. I don't know whether or not the report is true.

I don't know whether/ if the report is true or not.

④介词后的宾语从句要用whether引导。whether 可与不定式连用。whether也可引导主语从句、表语从句、同位语从句,还可引导让步状语从句,以上均不能换成if。但引导条件从句时,只能用if,而不能用whether。

e.g. It depends on whether we he enough time.

They don't know whether to go there.

Please come to see me if you he time.

(五)同位语从句

同位语从句在句中作某一名词的同位语,一般位于该名词(如:news, fact, idea, suggestion, promise等)之后,说明该名词的具体内容。

e.g. I he no idea when he will be back.

The fact that he had not said anything surprised everybody.

哈哈,你问对人了。我就是湖南的参加2011年高考的毕业生,英语当时142分。

25.Julia was good at German,French and Russian,all of ____(填得是which)she spoke fluently.这个句子是个非限定性定语从句,all of which...中的which指代的是前面的German,French,and Russian.又充当从句中all of which she spoke fluently中spoke的宾语。你得知道,定语从句中的关系代词有三个作用:替代(替代前面的German,French and Russian),充当成分,连接(连接主句Julia was....与从句all of....)

而不是宾语从句是由于:1.所谓的宾语从句就是充当宾语,你看,Julia was good at German,French,and Russian,这个句子中主语Julia,谓语was good at,宾语为German,French ,and Russian,主谓宾都齐全了,不需要宾语了。2.你再看she spoke fluently这个从句中spoke后面还缺少宾语,如果你把all of which...中的which看成宾语从句的引导词,那么它在宾语从句中是不作成分的,这与spoke后面还缺少宾语相冲突.一定要注意,宾语从句中的引导词在从句中是不充当任何成分的。
